Moderation & Enforcement

How we review content and what happens when our Community Guidelines or Terms are broken — including content removal, account actions, and how to appeal.

1. Review of lifts

Uploaded lifts are reviewed before they appear publicly on the feed and leaderboards. Content that violates our guidelines is not published.

We use a combination of automated screening — including AI systems that analyze the video for safety issues and check that it shows the claimed lift — and human review to keep content appropriate. Videos the automated check can't confidently assess are always reviewed by a human.

2. Content removal

We may remove any content that violates these policies or the law. A removed lift is kept private and does not appear publicly.

3. Account actions

Depending on severity and history, we may warn a user, remove their content, temporarily suspend their account, or permanently ban it.

Suspended or banned accounts cannot post or sign in for the duration of the action.

4. Repeat offenders

Repeated or severe violations lead to escalating action, up to a permanent ban.

5. Appeals

If you believe a removal, suspension, or ban was a mistake — including a decision made by our automated screening — you can appeal directly in the app from Settings → Appeals, or email support@liftr-app.com with your account name and what you’re appealing. Appeals are reviewed by a human, and we respond as soon as we reasonably can.

6. Deleting your account

You can permanently delete your account and content at any time from Settings → Delete Account.
