LIFTR

Safety Disclaimer

Last updated July 4, 2026

LiftR is a social and record-keeping app for lifters. It is not a coaching, medical, or fitness-advice service.

1. Lifting carries risk

Powerlifting and strength training can cause serious injury. You are responsible for training safely and within your own ability.

2. Not medical or professional advice

Nothing in LiftR, including content shared by other users, is medical, health, or coaching advice. Consult a qualified professional before starting or changing a training program and before attempting maximal lifts.

3. Train smart

Warm up properly, use appropriate equipment, safeties, and spotters, and stop if something hurts. Don’t attempt lifts beyond your ability to chase a ranking.

No leaderboard position, challenge week, rival, or called shot is worth an injury. Never attempt a weight you haven’t trained up to because the app showed you a number — rankings reset; injuries don’t always.

4. User content

Lifts and tips shared by other users are personal opinions and experiences, not professional guidance. Follow them at your own discretion.

5. Your own risk

By using LiftR you acknowledge that strength training carries inherent risks — including serious injury, disability, and death — and you knowingly and voluntarily assume all of those risks.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LiftR and its operators are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from your training, from attempts to improve a ranking or answer a challenge, or from your use of the app.
