These Terms govern your use of LiftR. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use LiftR.
You are responsible for your account and for keeping your password secure. Provide accurate information and don’t impersonate others.
You keep ownership of the videos and content you post. By posting, you grant LiftR a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and distribute that content within the app so it can be shown to other users.
You are responsible for your content and confirm you have the right to post it.
Don’t post content that is illegal, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, or that infringes others’ rights. Don’t impersonate others, post fake or misleading lifts, spam, scrape, or attempt to disrupt or abuse the service.
LiftR has no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Violating content is removed and offending accounts are suspended or banned, as described in the Community Guidelines (which are part of these Terms) and our Moderation & Enforcement policy.
Users can report content and block other users. We may remove content or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, at our discretion.
Moderation may include automated, AI-assisted review of submitted videos (for content safety and to check that the video shows the claimed lift) alongside human review. You can appeal a moderation decision in the app (Settings → Appeals) or by email; appeals are reviewed by a human.
“Verified” on LiftR means our review of the submitted video — which may combine automated AI analysis with human moderators — concluded the clip plausibly shows the claimed lift. It is an authenticity check only — not an endorsement of the lift’s safety or technique, not a guarantee of accuracy, and not a suggestion that anyone should attempt similar weights.
Community judgments (white and red lights) are other users’ personal opinions, not ours. Moderation, verification, and judging decisions are made at our discretion, may be changed or reversed at any time, and create no duty to any user.
Powerlifting and strength training carry inherent risk of serious injury. LiftR is not a coaching, medical, or fitness-advice service. Content shared by users is not professional advice. Always train within your ability and consult a qualified professional before attempting maximal lifts. By using LiftR you knowingly and voluntarily assume all risks of your training, and you lift entirely at your own risk (see the Safety Disclaimer).
The LiftR name, app, and design are owned by us. These Terms don’t grant you rights to our branding.
LiftR is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We don’t guarantee the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content posted by users is accurate.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LiftR and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for injuries arising from your training or use of the app.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LiftR and its operators from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from the content you post, your use of the app, or your violation of these Terms or of someone else’s rights.
You can stop using LiftR and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the jurisdiction where LiftR's operator is established, except where the law of your place of residence must apply. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction unless applicable law provides otherwise.
We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
